Drainage pipes need to run at a precise gradient — too shallow and they don’t clear, too steep and the water outruns the solids. Getting that fall right on site usually means fiddly measuring and a lot of judgement.
Drain40 is our answer: a guide that sits on the pipe and lets you set the recommended 1-in-40 fall in seconds. It’s a product we designed for ourselves and the trade — proof that we don’t just make other people’s ideas, we develop our own.
The guide’s geometry is built to one job: represent the correct 1-in-40 drainage gradient. No tables, no trigonometry — the angle is designed in.
The curved base locates onto the pipe so the guide sits square. Rest a spirit level across the top, set the pipe until the bubble is centred, and the run is at the right fall — first time.
It comes in a set of sizes for the runs you meet on site, each clearly marked, so the right guide is always to hand. Printed in our house colour and branded as a finished product.
